Picture Frames- Personalized
In my opinion, picture frames can always serve as the perfect gift. Think of it this way: A picture is worth a thousand words (as the saying goes), and so dressing pictures up with the right picture frames just make them more valuable and easy to present as an elegant, thoughtful gift. There are so many ways to use picture frames and everyone likes receiving them as presents-family members, friends, co-workers, etc. Here are some suggestions for giving picture frames as gifts.
Personalizing picture frames: If you are presenting picture frames as presents, you can make them more unique and elegant if you choose to personalize them. Engraving the recipient’s initials or a nice note such as “Happy Birthday, Dad!” or “I Love you” make the frames more personal and show the thought you put into them. Another great idea is engraving a short quotation from a favorite song or poem (but make sure to keep it on the shorter side). Again, these inexpensive ideas can really add value and beauty to a picture frame. Silver plated picture frames with a tasteful engraving such as those mentioned above-names, a nice quotation, or even just the date of a special event is a classic look I am personally a fan of.
Photos: When giving picture frames to people you know personally-family and friends-placing a photo of the person (or the person and you) adds a nice touch. I especially recommend printing or developing the photo in black and white then putting it in a simple silver of black frame. Another thing, keep it simple! Basic colors or all silver or all gold colored picture frames are more dramatic and classic. Black or silver picture frames with a black and white photo is a favorite of mine! Picture frames can really capture a memory in a classic and elegant way. If you wish to get picture frames for co-workers or people you may not know too personally, I don’t recommend putting a photo in the frame but generally go with more neutral picture frames such as glass frame with a simply engraving such as the person’s initials or a message such as “Happy Birthday, ____!” With these simple ideas, picture frames can be both personal and not too personal of a gift.
Picture frames as party favors: Picture frames also make the perfect party or wedding favor. Silver plated picture frames engraved with the date of your wedding and/or the couple’s names creates a very elegant favor. I suggest not putting a picture in these picture frames since they are presents for your guests to use. The engraving is a sufficient reminder of the special day. For groomsmen or bridesmaids, engrave each person’s name on their own frame. |
